How many Sinterklaases are there?!

Well, I saw Sinterklaas again. This time he and his black Peters came to my school. Where we had to wait for him. I was waiting with my friend Julia sitting next to me. It took a while, but luckily our teacher was singing songs with us. I know all of them by heart...
And then he came into the room. It was great, because some of his black Peters knew my name, even though I was not wearing my hat all the time!
I still am a little afraid of Sinterklaas, though. And when I shook his hand, I didn't even dare to look at his face. Mama says there's always next year.
And once he was on his way to see the other kids, we had to wait to get our presents. And because he knows I like pink, I got a pink doll and a pink ball from him. Yeah!

A day later, Mama had me clean my shoes for Nikolaus, which is the brother of Sinterklaas and only comes during the night. If you have clean boots standing at the firplace and were a nice kid, you will find chocolate and presents in your shoe the next morning. If you were bad, you get coal. Never one to pass on chocolate, I cleaned my boots. And lay down in front of the fireplace, thinking I could just wait for Nikolaus to come by.
Of course, he didn't. But I found lots of chocolate the next morning! (And ate most of it for breakfast...)

That afternoon, we dropped off Papa at the airport and went to Oma and Opa, in order to open some more presents Sinterklaas left at their house. They had lots of presents in their TV-room! But most of them were for everybody else but me... And yet, none of the grown-ups have a cool car with steering wheel like I do. Ha!

Since then, I don't feel so well. My nose is running and my ear hurts. I can't even go to school... or dance ballett the right way.

Lucky for me, there's enough to discover at home with my new magnifying glass!
