Parsnips? Who likes that?!
I keep up my pattern of waking up at 6am these days. My parents keep up their pattern of incomprehensible mumbling at that time.
i don't get it. I am awake so you have to play with me!
So I kept rolling and kicking and turning my head towards the TV until Dad finally carved in.
Thus I had the attention I deserved and my day started.
On the weekend I always get to play with Dad on the bed in the morning. Which usually translates into climbing on Dad's belly, laughing at weird sounds he makes and being huggled. Lots.
That's why I love weekends.
But I had a little nap around 10am. And when I woke up, Mom wasn't home. So I had to make due with Dad, but I didn't make it easy on him. I didn't wanna look out the window (Something I love doing during the week when there are actually cars passing by.), didn't wanna play on the bed, didn't wanna play with my keyboard.
I did however like the bouncing.
And lucky me, Mom came back...
Only to be pestering me with the weird stuff she keeps feeding me around lunch. But I wasn't gonna have it today. So I constantly stood up in my high chair and she had difficulties getting the spoon close to my mouth.
She gave up after about 20 minutes and a ice cube worth of parsnips.

After lunch we went out in order to meet up with my cousin a and her hubby. Supposedly, I've seen them before and even like them. But who trusts people feeding one parsnips?! Not me.
So I stared at these two for a while, safely from Mom's lap. But since I'm not an asocial person, I decided to like them, crack a smile and have them entertain me. Worked for me, until I was to hungry and tired to fight off the sleep any longer.
Next time I woke up, I was standing at the bottom of our stairs, still in my stroller. Huh?! I never sleep that long! Must have been way over an hour. Not to mention my hair was all messed up from sleeping to long...
So I played a little longer with these parents of mine and enjoyed the dancing and crawling and Dad's beer bottle opener that talks.
Tomorrow is another day, and I shall start early.
